I don’t think it is unusual for some of you to have an opinion or two on the board about your projects. However, while I’ve been a board member for over 20 years, I have seen too many board members come in and try to control what they see and hear so they can get a quick paycheck. This is simply not the place for that.
Writing on the board is a great place for us to discuss our projects. But it is also a place to discuss the general state of the board. At the end of the day, you can’t possibly please everybody. If we do something wrong, we will be accused of being “too conservative.” We also have to maintain balance between what is right and what is not.
I know the same thing applies to our board. We need to be careful about what we bring to the table. It’s important that we know our purpose and goals, and we always need to be open to new ideas. We also need to be careful about how we operate. We all want to see the best we can do, so we need to be flexible. Be careful about taking ideas and directions from anyone, because that is not how you run a board.
You can’t just talk about ideas and directions to everyone you meet, because that’s not how you run a board. The only people you see are the ones who you can talk to face-to-face. It’s important that we keep an open mind and be willing to question anything and everything we find. There’s no such thing as “the best” as long as we keep our eyes wide open and a willingness to change.
We have a few new and upcoming board members and I’m sure there will be more as we get closer to launch. When I’m talking about new and upcoming board members, I’m referring to people who have been a part of the board before, but are not currently able to help run it. Theres a lot of people out there who are still in the process of figuring out what they want to do with the board, and who might not have the time or energy to help run it.
There are still plenty of people out there who are working on their own projects and getting their feet wet. People who are just starting out, or new to the board. There are also a lot of people who have been on the board for years and have been able to help run it for the past few years.
The board is a place where people, including people new to the board, can share their work and learn from each other’s work. We have done that on the board for the past few years. The current board is a hub for anyone who would like to help.
The board is not a place to put your name on, or to brag about your work. We will not take any of that. We will not put our names on the board, or even mention our name. We will always take care of that. We would like to encourage people to be honest and up front with their accomplishments. The board is not a place for our names to be attached to.
We have been making the board private for over a year. That is not to say we are not open to feedback, but this is a place for people to share their work and projects. Of course, we never take credit for our work, but we are always very open to suggestions.
We do encourage you to share your work and projects with us. If your project is interesting, we can be a good place to post it so you can see what other people are up to.
