The idea of tidal energy marketing is simple: Use the power of the ocean to generate electricity. But what it really comes down to is the idea of the “power of the ocean.” The power of the ocean comes from its capacity to move water from the ocean floor to the ocean surface without replenishment.

The concept seems crazy, but as it turns out, it could be a reality. At the very least, it’s a great idea, and if it works, it would make a huge difference in the world’s energy consumption. I’d love to see it happen.

And the energy comes from the waves rather than the drilling. If you have a large enough wave energy plant you can build a wave energy park of your very own.
That means more jobs, more money, and a bit more power for the entire world. With wave energy, you can build an entire city of wave energy plants in one go. So that sort of makes sense.
