Spot Business Systems is the brainchild of Robert Smith, a marketing and business consultant based in Phoenix, AZ. Robert is focused on helping companies make more effective decisions for their future success. He has successfully coached and advised businesses in Arizona and the US. He is currently working with businesses in both the hospitality and retail industries.
Spot Business Systems has been in development for over 9 years, but has yet to release its alpha version. The company has been trying to get into the public eye since late 2011. Robert has come up with a variety of systems that companies can use to improve decision making.
The company’s software is designed to allow business owners to quickly and easily create and maintain a detailed business plan, and to make them see the value for themselves as they work through the details. The software is also designed to help them analyze the impact of various decisions, and to find the best way to take the next step in their evolution.
You can’t even imagine the things that can be done. For example, one company has patented a new system to provide automated feedback on every employee’s performance. The system can be set up to immediately point out areas that are not meeting business objectives. The system can even be configured to give feedback on a regular basis.
With the new systems, you can see if an employee is overworked or underworked and help them adjust their workload accordingly. You can also set up a system that reminds you of a particular decision you have made and how it will affect you.
The system is being developed by IBM. It’s not quite ready for prime time, but it is set to launch in mid-September. The idea is to make it easy for any business to monitor their employees to see how their performance is going, and to make it easy for them to adjust their performance based on their expectations. At the beginning of the work, everyone would be evaluated on their own, but as the project continues, everyone will be evaluated on the same criteria.
IBM has yet to announce what the criteria will be, but I’m pretty sure it’s going to be something like, “how you’re using your time at work is hurting the company, therefore we are going to make it as difficult as possible to use your time the way you like.
Sure, it makes sense. The way we see it, a company needs to have a business plan, and if it has a lot of time requirements, it’s going to need to invest heavily in time tracking. A system can be designed to adapt to the needs of the company, but you cannot expect a system to be self-adjusting.
I’m not sure what spot business systems are, but they’re definitely something that needs to be discussed. If you don’t want employees to use their time to make a sale, don’t give them the ability to. I think the problem is that every employee is probably looking for a way to make a quick sale but still meet the company’s needs. This has lead to some companies trying to develop ways to create their own time limits for when they know they can create a sale.
Well, yes. Companies have been trying to develop ways to create their own time limits for weeks now. We have to agree with the premise of the idea but disagree on the approach to implementing it. I would like to see companies be required to create a minimum time it takes to meet their needs. If we did this, then I would think it would be possible for companies to create their own time limits for meeting their needs.
