Local business meet-ups are meetings held by any businesses that can’t meet in-person. They take place online and are called “meetups” due to the fact that they hold a “local” rather than a “national” event. They typically have a theme, and you might be invited to be apart of it. Most of the local business meet-ups I’ve attended have been really fun.
Most of us here have to do a lot of talking to each other in local meetings. If you don’t really know who’s meeting in the local business meet-up, you can always ask what that is.
I have attended business meet-ups here in the city. While they are generally a lot of fun, I have a few quibbles.
First off, they are a lot of fun and can be a lot of work. In a local business meet-up you can’t just stand around and talk about your company. You have to actually talk to people. And not just the folks that are at the next table.
The point is that they are a lot of fun, but they can be a bit of hassle. It’s a lot of walking around and talking to people, and having the whole table talking about your business. It’s an expensive way to meet people.
No, but it is fun. I’m not a big fan of standing around talking to people about your company, but I can’t imagine that its a big hassle.
