When the roane county health department announced that they were going to be making a “health check” on all of their residents in the next couple years, I was pretty stoked to hear what they had to say about me. The roane county health department asked me if I would be willing to take a test that would have me take a blood test and give me my blood pressure and my cholesterol levels.
So I did as I was told and the results are rather interesting. In a word, the result is positive. This means that a person’s blood pressure and cholesterol levels are good. Most people that have heart conditions, like my father, are given a blood test and told that they are healthy. There are, however, a handful of people that are told that they are not healthy. These people have had their cholesterol and blood pressure levels measured and are given a risk assessment.
