When I started the i3 business back in late 1999, I noticed that many of my design professionals didn’t even want to think twice about their products. I was so intimidated by our way of doing business that I decided to give them the same opportunity. After a few days of trying over & over to see what I was doing, I realized how much I wanted to get “home” with the company.
I decided to hire a few people to help run the company and I was surprised at how much they wanted to get to know me first. I started this business back in 1999 and it has grown to this day. We now offer web design and design management services to hundreds of companies. I was honored to be asked to help run all of the design aspects of the i3 company.
the i3 company now employs over 35 people, with a staff of 8. We are a consulting firm and we specialize in helping small companies with their web and email design needs. We work on a variety of topics including web design, email design, mobile development, and video production.
i3 is a one-man operation; it’s not about me. My team of designers and developers are all hired on a contract basis and are paid weekly. I have no bosses or managers; I just focus on my job. There’s nothing more important to me than my team and the things we do. I’ve been working with i3 full-time for over a year now and I feel very privileged to have worked with them.
I wish I could say I work with people who have great communication skills, but so far I haven’t met anyone who actually does. I guess the only other person you can really call a communication expert is a video game designer who makes interactive videos explaining what they are doing.
You don’t work with business people who can speak fluent English. I think the biggest issue is that I’ve worked with a lot of people who couldn’t speak English. But if we’re going to focus on communication skills, you can’t expect to have a great communication with a Japanese person who can’t speak English.
i3 is a game. It has an audience. Business people play games. They can speak English or not. What they say to each other is irrelevant. If you want to communicate effectively be able to speak English. You cant expect them to be fluent in Japanese or say whatever you say. I know for a fact that Ive had business people communicate with me in English, but I cannot speak their language.
What do you think, are you going to use the word “business” in the title? It may help the screen reader to understand that a business person is a business person. Perhaps your screen reader is not doing enough for business people.
The point is that in order to be able to communicate effectively, you’ll have to speak English. That’s one of the keys to the business world, and a fact that many business people seem to forget once they’re in the business world. As I stated before, English is a universal language, and you wouldn’t be able to do business in a country without an English-speaking person.
I think this is a great point, and it’s something that I think a lot of people forget. I was a business student in college, and I learned more about business from the people who spoke English than I did from my classmates.
