I’ve always been a fan of the Hunger Games games for two main reasons: One, because the games force players to make their own characters. Two, since the games are all about the same subject, it creates a sort of meta-awareness. Hunger Games is about how people view the character a player is creating. The Invisible Pencil games is about how people view the character a player is creating. You can clearly see this in the game’s trailer.
The two videos below show the Hunger Games games. The Hunger Games games remind me of the game Super Mario World, which is a Mario-esque game. In the first video below, the player is making his own character, and in the second, the player is making his own team of characters. I think the similarities are that both games present themselves as a game of self-awareness.
Both games have a similar structure. As the player’s character is being created, it is presented in the player’s mind as if they’re creating something new, like a new character, a new weapon, or a new idea. This is a representation of the way we see the game. This is also a representation of how we perceive the game. We’re not trying to deceive ourselves, we’re not making a game of self-awareness.
The point of the game is to use our own strengths to defeat those above us, so we have to create a game that is about being aware of the game, about using your strengths to create a game that is about being aware of yourself.
It’s actually quite a bit easier than the average game to make a game that is aware of yourself. In the most basic sense, you do not have to think about your own strengths. You just think about yourself and what you could do to beat the game. If I had a list of things that I could do to get better at the game, most of them involve making a video or playing the game.
