You also need to make sure you have a realistic budget. Many people in college do not realize that they are not just pouring all of their money into building a building. They are also buying a piece of real estate. So you need to make sure youre saving enough to make the business work.
I’m a big fan of what is called the _bureaucracy_. It’s the idea that when someone wants to do something, they have to be able to do it in secret. So it would be helpful if a bureaucracy was in place to make sure that nobody would get in trouble.
This sounds like a really bad idea. It’s even worse when you think about it because you’re basically saying that there is something wrong with the system. If you make it too easy to get into trouble, then it will make it easy for bad guys to get into trouble too. But we’re not talking about the government here. We’re talking about the people that work for a company.
I’m talking about a small, but very real, group of people that have been allowed to do things they’re not supposed to do on their workdays. Its bad, but it happens. It happened to me when I worked for a big company in a building in my hometown. The people that work for this company are in a kind of sub-role they don’t get to play. Their job is very similar to that of an employee, but it is an entirely different job.
