The definitive debate between the two is what we are taught in school. The debate that began when the first iPhone came out was whether or not we need to “learn to write” with our cellphones. The debate now that everyone has a smart phone is whether or not we should learn to type. I think it’s impossible to learn to write with a cell phone, but I think most of us have likely learned how to type with our cell phones.
I think most of us can type pretty well on most cell phones, but for some reason the debate continues. I know that people sometimes argue the point of whether or not typing on a cell phone is better than type on paper. After all, we all have a stack of paper in our homes that we use to type words, but when we type on a phone, we have no paper to write on.
Well, that’s true, but if we were to look at the facts, it would be a little different. After all, not all of us type on paper but some of us use a typeface to do our typing on paper. And some of us type on the phone, and some of us only use the phone when texting. And some of us do both (and I have to admit that I’m pretty happy with how that works).
We have a typeface that we use for typing, but I have to admit that not all of us use it when we are typing on the phone. There are some of us that use a different typeface for phone and texting and still use the phone for everything else. And for those of us that don’t have a typeface at all, we still have a phone.
And for those of us who type on the phone, we have a document that we use for typing. And we use the document for typing on the phone, but we also use it for typing on the computer. In that case, I dont use a typface. And I dont use a document on the computer for typing on the phone either. But Im still a fan of typing on the phone and I use the phone for typing on the computer.
The point I’m trying to make is that I type on the phone while I type on the computer. And the only reason I’m typing on the phone is because my phone has no typeface, and I dont have a document on the computer that I use for typing on the phone. And I dont use a document on the computer for typing on the phone either, but I do use it for typing on the computer.
I am a fan of typing on the phone at least on the computers I use for the job, but typing on the phone on the computer is a different story, because you need the keyboard as well. And typing on the phone while you are typing on the computer is really not practical for anyone except me, since you have to pick up the phone when you want to type and then you have to retype the whole thing.
