I started my own business in 2010. I didn’t know what my next move would be, but I knew I wanted to start a business in a good location. In my opinion it is probably because California has more than just the two-month process. The big difference is that the state has the option to have the license in person, which could save you a lot of money and time. (You can also go online and get the license from the California Secretary of State.) It may also help to have a business license in the first place so you can get a driver license if you need it, or a credit rating.
I think it is the state’s policy on license renewal that could help. In any case, they do give you the opportunity to renew the license online in person, but you can also renew online. In California, you can also get a business license online. But again, the license only takes about twice as long as the two-month process.
Business licenses in the state of California are valid for one year. So if you want to renew online, you have to go to the website of your local county office and renew online, if the office you’re looking at is within the state.
I just received my license renewal this past week. It’s nice to know that I can renew by mail. The process is relatively streamlined.
The process is actually very simple. You can get your business license online at www.cityofmountainview.com. The only catch is that you will need to pay for a local driver’s license for each person you want to hire. But that’s only if youre not a resident of the city. Otherwise, you can just show up at the office with a valid business license and they will hand you your business license.
