I can’t imagine any business meeting that doesn’t include images of a church building or of a building that is part of a church. The images of an actual church building and of a building that is part of a church are two of my favorite elements of church building, yet they are often overlooked in most churches. As a result, they are difficult to see in most church meetings.
I was lucky enough to attend a church meeting on December 17th in South Carolina. It was the first time I’d ever been to a church meeting. The church meeting was an annual event that took place for about a week at the local Baptist church. Every week, the church held a meeting to do something else. The first time I was there, the meeting was on a Sunday, so I was there for the first time.
I’ll admit to being a little intimidated by the number of people there. The church was small, but there were about 20 people. The church was a small, historic church, so the crowd was very small. Many times I felt like I was the only person in the room. I think it’s because of the way the church is laid out and the way the room is set up.
