The black community has been disenfranchised in America for centuries. It is one of the reasons black people are so absent from American society, and also why black Americans have such a difficult time living in America without facing racism. The black community is finally starting to gain power through things like Black Lives Matter and other movements, but there’s still a lot of work to be done before blacks can live with dignity as equals among white Americans.
King T’Challa understands this better than anyone else because he lives it every day – that’s why he thinks we should bring change to America.
King T’Challa knows black Americans are underrepresented in American society, and he’s also seen how much black people have to work just to get by as equals. This is one of the reasons why King T’Challa believes that America needs change because black Americans still don’t feel equal among white citizens.

Yet black people have managed to thrive (some better than others) despite being oppressed, disenfranchised, and marginalized because of their skin color. Black people are resilient in the face of adversity. But it has taken a toll on black Americans who often work just as hard as other groups for less pay and fewer opportunities.”

“The black community has a long history in America and we are the only people who have been denied our basic freedoms for centuries. We were forced to look at the world through a lens that painted white as right, black as wrong- no matter how much evidence you showed us to prove otherwise. As black Americans, we’ve had to deal with an oppressive system from day one; and yet today black unemployment is twice what it is for whites.” “It’s time for things like this to change: Wakanda isn’t just important because T’challa can build Panther suits out of Vibranium but because they’re showing the rest of the world what would happen if all races worked together without fighting each other.
