There are many ways to treat mental health issues.
The problem comes when we turn our attention away from the problem itself and instead focus on the treatment we receive.
We have a tendency to use mental health as an excuse to do things that go against our own values. Like, we may think that by getting in front of our fears we can control them, but really we just control our own bodies and get in front of our fears. It’s like when you’re afraid of flying and you get nervous about it, but you’re not even aware that you’re nervous. When you’re afraid of flying you make things up in your head.
While you may not be aware of it, you are aware of what it feels like when you are afraid. Even if you’ve never thought about it before, when you get nervous you can actually see your body doing it. As long as you feel in control of your body, you can still control your thoughts and be fully aware of what it is you are afraid of.
It’s possible that some people with no history of anxiety or panic disorders, but who are still afraid of flying, might feel like they have to “fight” their fear by creating new scenarios in their minds to keep their anxiety at bay.
I don’t know about you, but I always feel like I need to have a “flight” situation going on in my life to feel safe and comfortable. Its why I don’t fly as often as I should, and have to take up a position in a room with some very scary people. I have so many situations I am scared of, that I have to create new ways to keep that fear at bay if I don’t want to end up in a hospital.
I think the key here is that no one is ever really safe. In fact, I think the real problem is that people often have to create their own dangerous situations to keep their anxieties in check. This is especially true in a company. If they have a business that is always on the verge of collapse, there is no way they can stop themselves from spiraling into a panic attack in order to pretend that everything is fine.
This is also the reason why the most important thing in a company is to avoid being run around like a bunch of ninjas and being the first to fall through the cracks. Once in a while a company will go into a panic because of a few things, but there is nothing stopping them from doing some work that they are afraid to do.
The panic is a perfect occasion to do some work. It is also an occasion to do some work that may be extremely painful.
In order to make a statement about what an anxiety is, you have to do some work. We’re not talking about some type of work, that’s more of a mental health thing. It’s just that in order to be a better person, you need to work on something.
